Soyang Europe is one of the UK’s leading suppliers of wide-format print media, providing everything from printable textiles and banners to specialist graphic materials.
To showcase these products more effectively, the company wanted to create a dedicated customer showroom within its existing facility. We designed and installed a bespoke warehouse partition wall with a rapid-rise door, transforming an open warehouse area into a professional showroom in just three days.
Soyang Europe had identified an opportunity to transform an unused area of its facility into a dedicated customer showroom.
The aim was to create a welcoming, professional environment where customers could view products and applications away from the day-to-day activity of the warehouse.
Without a physical divide, stored materials and warehouse operations would have remained visible from the showroom, detracting from the professional image Soyang Europe wanted to present.
The available area was a large, open space with no defined zones or separation from the rest of the warehouse.
In its existing form, the space was not suitable for product demonstrations or for delivering the high-quality customer experience Soyang Europe had in mind.

Soyang Europe wanted to create a permanent-looking division between its customer showroom and the warehouse's operational areas.
It also needed a practical access point that would allow forklifts and materials to move between the two areas without disrupting warehouse activity or compromising the showroom environment.
Following a detailed site survey, we designed and installed a bespoke grey flexible warehouse partition, commonly known as a Tension Wall.
The partition was securely fixed from floor to ceiling using the building’s existing steelwork, creating a clean and professional separation without the need for permanent building work.
Grey material was selected because it provides a smart, neutral finish while being more forgiving in a busy warehouse environment. Unlike lighter colours, it is less likely to show dust and everyday marks.
We also installed a rapid-rise door to provide quick and controlled access for forklifts moving between the showroom and the main warehouse.
The door opens and closes within seconds, helping to keep traffic moving while reducing the amount of time the showroom is exposed to warehouse dust and draughts.
The entire installation was completed in just three days, with no disruption to Soyang Europe’s day-to-day warehouse operations.
Soyang Europe now has a dedicated showroom where customers can view products in a professional and clearly defined environment.
Warehouse activity and material storage are concealed from view, while the rapid-rise door allows forklifts to move freely between the two areas without compromising the showroom's appearance or comfort.
